A Magical Weekend at the Herkimer Diamond Gem Show & Festival

What a weekend! I just wrapped up two full, beautiful days reading tarot and oracle cards at the Herkimer Diamond Gem Show & Festival, and my heart is feeling so full (and my voice is feeling a little hoarse from chatting all weekend!).

This was the 10th anniversary of this beloved local gem show — an event full of sparkle, good energy, and so many amazing vendors, collectors, and crystal-lovers gathered in one space. You can read more about the show itself here in this great article.

For me, this weekend wasn’t just about crystals (although I definitely took home a few treasures of my own). It was about connection, intuition, and the quiet magic that happens when you sit down with someone for a reading and open the door to clarity, healing, and possibility.

🔮 Booked, Busy, and Blessed

I was lucky enough to have a steady flow of incredible souls at my table all weekend long. On Saturday alone, I read for at least eight different people — and Sunday brought even more beautiful connections. Every reading felt rich and meaningful, and I’m so grateful to everyone who trusted me to hold space for them.

Whether people came in out of pure curiosity or because they needed guidance on something weighing on their heart, Spirit showed up every time — as it always does. 

🌙 Weekend Themes: What Spirit Wanted to Say

One of my favorite parts of reading at events is noticing how certain themes tend to ripple through the readings. When you’re reading for so many different people, but similar messages keep appearing, it’s a little reminder that we’re all more connected than we think.

Here are a few of the key themes Spirit seemed to want everyone to hear this weekend:

✨ Follow Your Passion Projects:
Several readings pointed toward reigniting creativity, leaning into hobbies, or finally starting that business or project that’s been sitting on the back burner. Spirit was clear — it’s time to trust your passions and make space for joy again.

✨ Don’t Let the World Harden You:
Life can be tough, and for many, the message was about softening back into trust, love, and openness — even when the world makes it feel safer to build walls. You’re allowed to protect your peace, but you don’t have to lose your light.

✨ Prioritize Rest and Restoration:
Burnout, overwhelm, and exhaustion were common threads. Spirit reminded more than one person that rest isn’t laziness — it’s necessary. Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is pause, breathe, and let yourself recover.

✨ You’re Not as Stuck as You Think:
A gentle but clear message for many: The path forward may feel foggy now, but movement is coming. Trust that even small steps are enough.
