Getting Ready for a Reading

How To Prepare For Your Reading

I often have many clients who are new to Tarot, Oracle, witchcraft, and spirituality. I also have many who are not. All are welcome! If you're new here though, here's a few tips to make your experience great!
  • Make sure you are able to be in a quiet spot free of distractions for your appointment. This makes it easier for you and your reader to stay focused and get the most out of your session.
  • Make sure to have some water, paper and a pen with you. It's encouraged that you take notes during your reading. Or you might want to write down questions that pop up for you during your reading to ask. Maybe something your reader says sparks a thought.
    • If you would like to record your reading or have a recording made of your reading, please ask ahead of time so we can accommodate.
    • Hydration is always important, but especially when you are working with Spirit.
  • Bring whatever is going to make you feel more comfortable! Your favorite blanket, fidget toys, kleenex. Sometimes we get a lot of information and we don't know exactly how our body will react. All feelings are valid!
  • If you would like to invite Spirit into your home during your reading, please feel free to set out a glass of water and/or light a white candle for the duration of your reading. This welcomes your Spirit Guides or Ancestors into your home to help with making a connection.
  • Remember that sometimes messages don't make sense in the current moment. Especially if we are asking for general guidance without any immediate problems or questions on our mind. If we are opening up to hear anything and everything, who is to say your Spirits are going to focus in on the right here and right now?
  • Take a look at our Ethics and policies page to make sure you know what questions/topics are allowed and any other technical or legal logistics that might be important.
  • Have fun! Ask questions! Enjoy the moment and the conversation!

I look forward to meeting you!
