Protection Ladder or Valhalla Ladder is a protection talisman and home decor item created using hand selected natural items from the lake side on Cayuga Lake. Traditionally there is a lot of lore surrounding these ladders being a showcase of Viking voyages in addition to their ability to “catch” and protect the home from negativity. Hung outside the front door these talismans were meant to protect the home and it’s inhabitants. True Valhalla Ladders were once said to feature all sorts of items found on voyage; Glass, bones, rocks, driftwood, shells, any sort of trinket or treasure found Oceanside.
Lucky stones or Hag stones go by many names like fae stone or adder stone as well but they all refer to a rock with a natural hole worn all the way through. Some believe this hole allows you to see into another world or the fairy world, while others believe in their intense protection properties and their ability to bring good luck. It often takes witches years to find their first hag stone and it is a treasure to delight in.
17 inches long with 8 driftwood pieces and 4 hag stones. Variations may occur due to variations in natural items used. All items used are collected from the lake.
